Ingredients

  • 2 Cubes beef bouillon
  • 3 Cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) mustard seeds
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) olive oil
  • 0.5 Medium white onion, minced
  • 0.5 Medium red onion, minced
  • 3 Tablespoons (tbsp) cornstarch
  • 3 Tablespoons (tbsp) cold water

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, combine the kosher salt, dried sage, and ground black pepper. Rub this mixture evenly on both sides of the pork chops.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sauté for 5 minutes on each side until well browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic, mustard seeds, and fresh thyme leaves. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

  7. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with 3 tablespoons of cold water until smooth. Gradually stir this mixture into the skillet to thicken the gravy. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the gravy reaches the desired consistency.
