Ingredients

  • 7 Slices bacon, crumbled
  • 16 Ounces (oz) cream cheese
  • 1 Ounce (oz) envelope ranch dressing mix
  • 0.5 Cups (cup) barbecue sauce
  • 1 Whole green bell pepper, minced
  • 1 Whole tomato, minced
  • 1.5 Cups (cup) sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps

  1. Place bacon in a large, deep skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain bacon slices on a paper towel-lined plate. Crumble cooled bacon into a bowl and set aside.
  2. Stir together cream cheese and ranch dressing mix in a bowl until smooth. Spread mixture on the bottom of a pie dish.
  3. Evenly spread barbecue sauce on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Layer crumbled bacon, minced bell pepper, and minced tomato on top of the barbecue sauce.
  5. Top with shredded sharp Cheddar cheese.
  6. Cover and chill the dip for 1 hour before serving. Enjoy with your choice of chips or crackers.
