  • 0.33 - Cup vegetable oil
  • 1.5 - Tablespoons (tbsp) rice vinegar
  • 1 - Teaspoon (tsp) sesame oil
  • 0.25 - Cup green onions, minced

  • 1 - Teaspoon (tsp) garlic, minced
  • 2 - 2 Pounds (lb) salmon fillets, peeled

Steps

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Soak cedar planks in warm water for at least 1 hour.
  3. In a shallow dish, stir together soy sauce, vegetable oil, rice vinegar, sesame oil, green onions, ginger, and garlic.
  4. Place salmon fillets in the marinade, turning to coat. Cover and marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  5. Preheat an outdoor grill to medium heat. Place the soaked planks on the grill grate and heat until they start to smoke and crackle slightly.
