- 0.5 Teaspoons (tsp) garam masala
- 1 Pinch salt, to taste
- 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) butter, divided
- 1 Whole onion, minced
- 0.5 Teaspoons (tsp) ground turmeric
- 0.5 Teaspoons (tsp) ginger, minced
- 0.5 Teaspoons (tsp) garlic, minced
- 0.5 Teaspoons (tsp) cayenne pepper
- 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) tomato paste
- 1 Cup water
- 0.5 Cup heavy cream
- 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) honey

- Cook the Onion: Melt the remaining butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Add the minced onion; cook and stir until the onion has softened and turned translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Spice the Sauce: Stir in the ground turmeric, minced ginger, and minced garlic. Cook and stir for 1 minute. Stir in the cayenne pepper and tomato paste until well blended, then stir in the water. Bring to a simmer and return lamb to the skillet. Simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes, or until lamb is tender.
- Finish with Cream and Honey: Stir in the heavy cream and honey. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped cilantro.
