  • 1 Pound (lb) fettuccine pasta
  • 2 Cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 Cup green onions, minced
  • 1 Cup parsley, minced
  • 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) fresh basil, minced
  • 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) fresh thyme, minced
  • 2 Teaspoons (tsp) salt
  • 2 Teaspoons (tsp) black pepper, ground
  • 1.5 Teaspoons (tsp) red pepper flakes, ground
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) white pepper, ground
  • 0.5 Pound (lb) shrimp, peeled
  • 0.5 Pound (lb) scallops
  • 0.5 Cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 0.5 Cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Steps

  1. Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil. Cook the fettuccine until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain once done cooking.
  2. Meanwhile, pour the cream into a large skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until just about boiling. Reduce heat and add green onions, parsley, basil, thyme, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and white pepper. Simmer until thickened, about 7 to 8 minutes.
  3. Stir in the shrimp and scallops. Cook until the shrimp is no longer translucent.
  4. Stir in the cheeses, blending well.
