• 1 14 Ounces (oz) can sweetened condensed milk
• 0.5 Cup water
• 0.5 Cup light cream
• 2 Pounds white sugar
• 0.25 Cup unsalted butter
• 0.5 Teaspoon (tsp) vanilla extract

Steps

1. Butter a 10x15 inch jellyroll pan and set aside.
2. In a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, water, light cream, and white sugar. Add the unsalted butter.
3. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
4. Reduce the heat to medium and continue cooking for 20 minutes, stirring constantly.
5. After 20 minutes, remove the saucepan from the heat and beat in the vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture loses its glossy appearance.
6. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and let it cool until hard, approximately 6 hours.
