Everything You Need to Know About

The Science Behind Your Health

easyChef Pro is powered by Digital Nutrition Intelligence™ which is a complete, integrated ecosystem of 9 patent-pending modules. Each is designed with precision to solve a specific part of your nutritional journey. Get answers to all your questions about how it works.

How does the app calculate my personalized nutrition needs?

Our system analyzes your goals, activity level, age, and health data to calculate custom macro targets. These adjust automatically as you log meals and progress.

Can I customize meal plans based on my dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes. During setup you set your dietary preferences, allergies, and the health goals that matter most to you. Every meal plan, score, and recommendation is then built around those constraints, so foods you can’t or don’t want to eat never make it into your week.

What’s the pantry feature and how does it help me meal plan?

Your pantry is a living inventory of what you already have. Scan a barcode, snap a nutrition label, or add items manually with quantities and expiration dates. easyChef Pro then prioritizes meals that use what’s on hand and about to expire, and excludes those items from your grocery list.

How accurate is the nutrition tracking feature?

Every score is calculated from USDA-sourced data using transparent math and not crowdsourced guesses. The same recipe produces the same score every time, and you can decompose any score to see exactly which nutrients moved it up or down.

Does the app sync with other fitness or health apps (Apple Health, Fitbit, etc.)?

Integrations with popular fitness and health platforms are on our roadmap, so your activity and health data can inform your nutrition automatically. They roll out to all Pro members as they ship.

How does the app track my progress toward my goals?

Every recipe you analyze, meal you plan, and ingredient you log is recorded automatically in your personal health record. Watch your average health score and nutrition trends evolve week over week, and export a complete report to share with a nutritionist, doctor, or trainer.

How many recipes are available in the app?

You’re not limited to a fixed library, you can import recipes from any website, or type your own from memory, and easyChef Pro analyzes each one across 41 nutritional parameters.

Is easyChef Pro available on iPhone, iPad and Android?

Yes. easyChef Pro is live on the App Store for iPhone and iPad and on Google Play for Android, and your plan, pantry, recipes and scores are the same account on every device you sign in on.

What does easyChef Pro cost after the free trial?

The trial runs 7 days with no credit card required. After it ends the subscription is $7.99 per month for the first 1,000 members, then $19.99 per month. The nutrition calculators on this website stay free whether or not you subscribe.

Can I add food by scanning a barcode?

Yes. Scan a product barcode to add it to your pantry with its nutrition attached, or scan while you shop to see how a product scores before it goes in the basket.

Is the free trial limited in any way?

No. The 7-day trial gives full access to every feature, including the meal planner, pantry tracking, grocery list and nutrition scoring. No credit card is required to start it.

Do I have to log every meal for this to be useful?

No. Scoring a recipe needs nothing logged: import or type it and you get the score straight away. Logging is what builds the history, so meals you mark as eaten update your pantry and are recorded, and the trend over weeks becomes something you can actually read.

What happens to my pantry after I cook a meal?

It comes down on its own. Finish a recipe in Cook Mode and the ingredients you used are deducted from your pantry, and the meal and its score are written to your history.

Will easyChef Pro tell me what to use before it goes off?

Yes. Pantry items carry expiration dates, and meals that use what is on hand and closest to expiring are prioritised in your plan, so food gets eaten rather than thrown out.

Does changing the serving size change the score?

It can. The score is calculated from the nutrition of the version you actually make, so changing an ingredient, a quantity or the serving size changes the nutrition and may change the score with it.

Can I add a recipe that is not online, like one from a cookbook?

Yes. Type it in from the book or from memory and easyChef Pro analyses it exactly as it analyses an imported one. You are not limited to a fixed library.

Can I export my nutrition history?

Yes. Your history is always exportable, so you can take the full record with you and share it with a doctor, dietitian or trainer.

Is my data private, and do you ever sell it?

Your data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit, it is never sold, and it is always exportable.

Can I use easyChef Pro on a computer?

The nutrition calculators on this website run in any browser with no account needed. The full product, meaning the meal planner, pantry, grocery list and Cook Mode, is the iPhone, iPad and Android app.

How do I cancel?

Your subscription is billed through the App Store or Google Play, so you cancel it in the subscription settings of whichever store you signed up on. There is no cancellation form to fill in here.
