Free Recipe Nutrition Calculators & Tools
Eat healthier. Waste less. Spend smarter.
Not an AI estimate. A calculation from USDA-referenced nutrient data.
Julie from easyChef Pro
Seven things your kitchen needs.
One system that connects them all.
Most meal planners use AI to guess what you should eat. easyChef Pro calculates what is actually in your food.
Every feature talks to every other feature. That is the actual innovation.
Recipe nutrition score
Know if dinner is actually healthy.
Recipe nutrition calculated, not guessed.
Every recipe gets a health score from 0 to 100 based on 41 nutritional parameters. Nutrient density, energy density, glycemic impact. One transparent number. You can see exactly why a recipe scored the way it did.
Tell easyChef Pro your health goals once. The system does not just filter. It changes how every score is calculated across six goal-specific health dimensions.

Real app scores
This is what a nutrition score actually looks like.
Not an estimate. A number you can verify.
Every dimension calculated at the ingredient level from USDA-referenced nutrient data. Core scores on the left. Focus Fit scores on the right.
Your recipe scores differently depending on your goal. General Wellness is shown free. All six Focus Fit scores are in the app.

USDA-Sourced Meal Planner
The meal planner that survives Wednesday.
Built by math. Not by suggestions.
Set your health goal once. The system generates a weekly meal plan that balances five objectives simultaneously — health score, cost, time, pantry use, and variety.
This is not a list of suggestions from a database. The system solves a constrained optimization problem and returns the plan that fits best, in seconds.

Pantry tracker and spoilage prediction
Pantry tracking that knows your kitchen.
Before you open the refrigerator.
Add items by barcode or photo scan. Every item is tracked with its quantity, unit and expiry date, and products are referenced against USDA data.
Nothing hides at the back of the fridge. The spinach you bought Tuesday expires Friday, and easyChef Pro flags it before it turns.
Weeknight meal planning
Tonight's dinner from what you already own.
Fridge to table in 30 minutes.
10,000 recipes, every one scored against the health goal you set. Not a vague suggestion -- a number you can open and check, nutrient by nutrient. The plan is already there when you walk through the door.
The 6:30pm decision is already made. You open the app and tonight's meal is already chosen against your goal. That is the only answer you needed.
Grocery list and barcode scanner
The grocery list that builds itself.
Every feature talks to every other feature.
Your grocery list knows what you already have. It adds only what is missing. It syncs with Walmart. Every purchase goes straight back into your pantry.
Every meal tracked. Complete nutrition history against your personal targets. Export to share with your doctor or nutritionist. This is the actual innovation — not any single feature, but the loop that connects all of them.
Questions about the free nutrition calculators
What is a nutrition score?
A nutrition score is a single number from 0 to 100 that summarises how healthy a recipe or meal is for a specific health goal. easyChef Pro calculates scores from 41 nutritional parameters, including nutrient density, energy density and glycemic impact, so the same recipe always returns the same score.
How is easyChef Pro different from MyFitnessPal or Cronometer?
Most nutrition apps count calories from crowd-sourced or AI-estimated data, which is why the same meal gives different numbers in different apps. easyChef Pro uses USDA-referenced nutrient data and a deterministic scoring engine: the same input returns the same output every time. It also plans the week, tracks your pantry and builds the grocery list, rather than only logging what you already ate.
Where does the nutrition data come from?
Recipe and ingredient nutrition is referenced against USDA FoodData Central, the federal reference for nutrition composition in the United States. A product is matched to its USDA record by barcode or by name, and easyChef Pro validates that match with deterministic rules before storing it. Some products carry retailer label data or values entered by a user instead, so we describe the data as USDA-referenced and math-validated, which is what it actually is.
Which tools are free, and do I need an account?
The web tools are free to use. Several return your result immediately, including the TDEE, BMR, macro, protein, calorie-deficit, ideal-weight and maintenance-calorie calculators and the NOVA checker. The recipe scorer, recipe lookup and barcode scanner ask for an email address before showing the full breakdown. The app itself requires an account and includes a 7-day free trial.
How do I score a recipe?
Paste any recipe URL into the recipe scorer. easyChef Pro pulls the ingredients, references them against USDA nutrient data, and returns a 0 to 100 health score in seconds. The score is built from four Core measures, Glycemic Impact, Nutritional Density, Energy Density and NOVA, and can also be read against any of the six health goals.
What health goals does easyChef Pro support?
Six health goals, built on FDA and USDA reference standards: General Wellness, Heart Health, Metabolic, Digestive, Inflammatory and Performance. Each one changes which nutrients are weighted most heavily, so the same meal can score well for one goal and poorly for another. Keto and Anabolic are separate profiles for eating to a specific method, and they sit outside those reference standards by design.
Why do calorie apps give different numbers for the same food?
Most calorie apps use crowd-sourced databases where users submit their own nutrition data. That data is frequently incomplete, duplicated or AI-estimated, so the same item can carry dozens of entries with different calorie counts. easyChef Pro references USDA nutrient data and calculates with fixed rules, so the same ingredient always returns the same number.
