Sesame-Crusted Seared Tuna

    Assemble all the ingredients.

    In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, mirin, and honey.

    Pour half of the mixture into another small bowl, stir in the rice wine vinegar, and set it aside as a dipping sauce.

    Spread the sesame seeds on a plate. Coat the tuna steaks with the remaining soy sauce mixture, then press them into the sesame seeds to cover.

    Heat the olive oil in a cast iron skillet over high heat until it is very hot. Add the steaks to the pan; sear for about 30 seconds on each side.
