Air Fryer Caramelized Grapefruit
  1. 1

Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

  2. 2

Cut the grapefruit in half. If the halves don't sit flat, slice a thin sliver off the bottom of each. With a sharp paring knife, cut around the outer edge of each half between the skin and the fruit, then cut between each segment to make it easier to eat after cooking.

  3. 3

Mix the softened butter with 3 teaspoons brown sugar in a small bowl. Spread the mixture over each grapefruit half, then sprinkle with the remaining brown sugar.

  4. 4

Set each grapefruit half on a 5-inch square of aluminum foil. Fold the foil edges up around the fruit to catch any juices, then place them in the air fryer basket.

  5. 5

Broil in the preheated air fryer until the sugar mixture is bubbling, 6 to 7 minutes. Sprinkle the fruit with cinnamon before serving.
