  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) with a rack in the center.

  2. 2

Heat 1 1/2 teaspoons oil in a high-sided skillet over medium. Add the leek and carrot; cook, stirring often, until softened, about 3 minutes. Add the tomatoes, garlic, thyme, and crushed red pepper; cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant, 1 to 2 minutes. Add the white wine and cook until reduced by half, about 4 minutes. Add the chicken broth, beans, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper; bring to a boil over medium-high. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer until the tomatoes burst and the carrots are tender, about 25 minutes.

  3. 3

While the beans simmer, line a large, rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil. Rub the fish with the remaining 1 tablespoon oil; sprinkle evenly with salt and the remaining 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Place half of the lemon slices in the fish cavities. Arrange the remaining slices on the prepared baking sheet. Roll 2 large pieces of aluminum foil into logs and twist them to prop up the fish cavity-side down.

  4. 4

Roast the fish in the preheated oven until the flesh is opaque and the skin is crispy, about 25 minutes.

  5. 5

Stir the butter into the bean mixture. Serve in shallow bowls with the roasted branzino and lemons. Sprinkle with more thyme leaves, and serve immediately with crusty bread.

How easyChef Pro scores recipes and products

easyChef Pro analyzes up to 41 nutrients using data sourced from USDA and other verified food databases. Its scoring method uses the nutrients relevant to nutrition quality, calorie density, processing level, and your selected health goal. Recipes and food products get a health score from 0 to 100, calculated using consistent rules instead of being estimated by AI. The same nutrition data, serving size and health goal will produce the same result.

The calculation evaluates nutrients, calorie density, processing level, and how well the food supports your selected health goal. Protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals and other beneficial nutrients can strengthen the score. High amounts of sodium, saturated fat, added sugar and other nutrients may lower it.

Your health goal also matters. easyChef Pro evaluates recipes and products across six health areas and adjusts their importance for your selected goal. This means the same food may be a better fit for one health goal than another.

For recipes, changing an ingredient, quantity or serving size changes the nutrition and may change the score. Remix the recipe in easyChef Pro to calculate fresh nutrition and scores for the version you actually make. Product scores are based on the nutrition and serving information associated with that specific product.
