Ultra-Garlicky Parmesan Knots

Ultra-Garlicky Parmesan Knots are rich with fresh minced garlic infused into warm olive oil, giving each bite a bold, buttery aroma and a savory, cheesy finish from Parmesan. The pillowy knots bake to a golden crust, then get tossed with parsley for a bright, fresh lift. Serve them as a crowd-pleasing appetizer or alongside pasta and salads for dinner.

Ultra-Garlicky Parmesan Knots
  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Lightly grease 2 baking sheets.

  2. 2

On a lightly floured surface, roll 1 package of pizza dough into a 10-inch square with a lightly floured rolling pin, using your hands to pull the corners. Cut the square in half with a pizza wheel or sharp knife, then slice each half into 15 strips about 2/3 inch wide. Lightly dust the dough with flour if needed to prevent sticking. Gently tie each strip into a knot, pulling the ends slightly to secure. Set the knots 1 inch apart on a prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining dough.

  3. 3

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

  4. 4

Meanwhile, mix the oil, garlic, and salt in a large bowl.

  5. 5

Take the knots out of the oven and brush them with the garlic oil. Return them to the oven and bake until golden brown, 5 to 10 minutes more.

  6. 6

Remove the knots from the oven and immediately sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley. Serve warm.
