Combine olive oil, garlic, thyme, oregano, lemon zest, salt, and pepper in a blender or small food processor the day before. Pulse several times to purée; pour the marinade into a resealable plastic bag. Add chicken pieces; massage the contents until the chicken is coated with marinade. Press out as much air as possible, seal the bag, and refrigerate at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours.
- 2
Combine olive oil, mayonnaise, white wine vinegar, white sugar, shallot, dry mustard, salt, and poppyseeds in a small jar with a lid for the dressing. Stir rapidly to blend, or cover and shake vigorously. Refrigerate until ready to use. Liquids will separate, so shake again before use.
- 3
Preheat an outdoor grill to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Clean and oil the grates.
- 4
Grill the chicken on the hot grates until it is no longer pink at the center and the juices run clear, 3 to 4 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the center should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). Remove the chicken and let it rest and cool for about 10 minutes, then chop it into bite-sized pieces.
- 5
To assemble the salad, add poppyseed dressing to the bottom of each Mason jar. Alternatively, keep the dressing separate and dress the salad on the plate.
- 6
To each jar, add chopped celery, scallion, broccoli slaw, strawberries, and feta. Fill each jar with torn salad greens, and add sliced almonds on top of the greens. Put the lids on the jars, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- 7
To serve, open the jars and shake out the contents onto a plate. Dress with poppyseed dressing if it was kept separate.

How easyChef Pro scores recipes and products
easyChef Pro analyzes up to 41 nutrients using data sourced from USDA and other verified food databases. Its scoring method uses the nutrients relevant to nutrition quality, calorie density, processing level, and your selected health goal. Recipes and food products get a health score from 0 to 100, calculated using consistent rules instead of being estimated by AI. The same nutrition data, serving size and health goal will produce the same result.
The calculation evaluates nutrients, calorie density, processing level, and how well the food supports your selected health goal. Protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals and other beneficial nutrients can strengthen the score. High amounts of sodium, saturated fat, added sugar and other nutrients may lower it.
Your health goal also matters. easyChef Pro evaluates recipes and products across six health areas and adjusts their importance for your selected goal. This means the same food may be a better fit for one health goal than another.
For recipes, changing an ingredient, quantity or serving size changes the nutrition and may change the score. Remix the recipe in easyChef Pro to calculate fresh nutrition and scores for the version you actually make. Product scores are based on the nutrition and serving information associated with that specific product.
