Instant Pot Baked Ziti
  1. 1

Turn on a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as an Instant Pot) and choose the Saute function. When hot, add the oil and the onion. Cook, stirring, until the onion begins to soften, about 3 minutes. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 45 seconds. Add 1/2 of the ziti pasta and the water.

  2. 2

In a bowl, combine the ricotta and marinara sauce. Pour 1/2 of the ricotta mixture over the ziti in the Instant Pot. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the mozzarella and 1/2 of the Provel cheeses. Add the remaining ziti pasta and spoon the remaining ricotta mixture on top.

  3. 3

Cancel Saute mode. Close and lock the lid. Select high pressure according to the manufacturer's instructions; set the timer for 10 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for the pressure to build.

  4. 4

Carefully release the pressure using the quick-release method per the manufacturer's instructions, about 5 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Provel cheeses and let them melt. Once the cheeses have melted, serve garnished with basil leaves.
