Assemble all the ingredients.
- 2
Pat the chicken dry on a large plate with paper towels; season all sides of the chicken with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
- 3
Spread the flour on a separate large plate. Working with 1 cutlet at a time, coat the chicken in flour, shake off the excess, and place it back on the original plate. Discard any leftover flour.
- 4
Heat 3 tablespoons oil in a large skillet over medium-high until shimmering. Add the chicken; cook until golden brown and an instant-read thermometer in the thickest part reads 160 degrees F (71 degrees C), 3 to 4 minutes per side, adjusting the heat as needed to control browning. Transfer the chicken to a large, clean plate; cover with aluminum foil and keep warm.
- 5
Lower the heat to low and add the garlic and the remaining 1 tablespoon oil; cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant, 10 to 15 seconds.
- 6
Stir in the broth, heavy cream, Parmesan, lemon zest, lemon juice, and onion powder, scraping up and dissolving any browned bits from the bottom of the pan; bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook, stirring frequently, until slightly thickened, about 6 minutes.
- 7
Stir in the basil, the remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt, and the remaining 1/4 teaspoon pepper, then return the chicken and any accumulated juices to the skillet, stirring the sauce to help incorporate the drippings.

How easyChef Pro scores recipes and products
easyChef Pro analyzes up to 41 nutrients using data sourced from USDA and other verified food databases. Its scoring method uses the nutrients relevant to nutrition quality, calorie density, processing level, and your selected health goal. Recipes and food products get a health score from 0 to 100, calculated using consistent rules instead of being estimated by AI. The same nutrition data, serving size and health goal will produce the same result.
The calculation evaluates nutrients, calorie density, processing level, and how well the food supports your selected health goal. Protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals and other beneficial nutrients can strengthen the score. High amounts of sodium, saturated fat, added sugar and other nutrients may lower it.
Your health goal also matters. easyChef Pro evaluates recipes and products across six health areas and adjusts their importance for your selected goal. This means the same food may be a better fit for one health goal than another.
For recipes, changing an ingredient, quantity or serving size changes the nutrition and may change the score. Remix the recipe in easyChef Pro to calculate fresh nutrition and scores for the version you actually make. Product scores are based on the nutrition and serving information associated with that specific product.
