Mix 1/2 cup olive oil, 1 tablespoon parsley, and red pepper flakes. Toss the tuna with this marinade, then set aside to marinate for 30 minutes.
- 2
Add vinegar, orange juice, lemon juice, lime juice, and soy sauce to a blender. Add the shallot, 1 tablespoon parsley, thyme, dill, honey, Dijon mustard, jalapeno, and ginger. Blend on high until smooth, then, with the blender running, slowly stream in 3/4 cups olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and set aside.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Fill another large container halfway with ice and halfway with cold water, and set aside. Add the haricots verts to the boiling water and cook until just tender, 35 to 40 seconds. Remove them from the water and immediately plunge into the ice water to cool. Next, blanch the carrots until just tender, about 1 1/2 minutes; chill in the ice water until cold.

When the vegetables are cold, remove them from the ice water and pat dry. Place them in a large bowl and toss with the halved tomatoes, olives, onion, and chervil; set aside.
- 5
Heat a heavy-bottomed skillet over high heat until very hot. Remove the tuna steaks from the marinade and wipe off the excess. Season the tuna with salt and pepper to taste, then sear in the hot skillet to your desired doneness, about 1 minute per side for rare.
- 6
To assemble, toss the vegetable salad with enough dressing to lightly coat. Divide the salad among 4 plates and place a seared tuna steak on top of each. Drizzle with additional dressing to serve.

How easyChef Pro scores recipes and products
easyChef Pro analyzes up to 41 nutrients using data sourced from USDA and other verified food databases. Its scoring method uses the nutrients relevant to nutrition quality, calorie density, processing level, and your selected health goal. Recipes and food products get a health score from 0 to 100, calculated using consistent rules instead of being estimated by AI. The same nutrition data, serving size and health goal will produce the same result.
The calculation evaluates nutrients, calorie density, processing level, and how well the food supports your selected health goal. Protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals and other beneficial nutrients can strengthen the score. High amounts of sodium, saturated fat, added sugar and other nutrients may lower it.
Your health goal also matters. easyChef Pro evaluates recipes and products across six health areas and adjusts their importance for your selected goal. This means the same food may be a better fit for one health goal than another.
For recipes, changing an ingredient, quantity or serving size changes the nutrition and may change the score. Remix the recipe in easyChef Pro to calculate fresh nutrition and scores for the version you actually make. Product scores are based on the nutrition and serving information associated with that specific product.
