Supreme Strawberry Topping
Supreme Strawberry Topping is a glossy, fruit-forward sauce bursting with ripe berry flavor and a hint of vanilla. It’s thick enough to cascade beautifully over cheesecake, ice cream, pancakes, waffles, or shortcake, adding bright sweetness and a fresh, jammy finish. Serve it warm or at room temperature whenever you want a vibrant dessert accent.

- 1
Remove the stems from the strawberries and slice them in half.
- 2
In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the strawberries, sugar, and vanilla (if using). Cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture sizzles and the juice starts to form.
- 3
Keep stirring; mash a few strawberries with a wooden spoon or heatproof spatula to help create the syrup. Continue cooking until the sauce thickens, about 15 minutes. Remove from the heat.
- 4
Pour 1/3 of the strawberry sauce into a blender. Cover and hold the lid down with a potholder while pureeing the mixture.
- 5
Return the pureed mixture to the remaining sauce and stir until combined.
- 6
Serve over a slice of cheesecake, ice cream, or your favorite dessert.
