Put the water, butter, and raisins in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Take off the heat, stir in the stuffing mix, cover, and let it sit until the stuffing absorbs the liquid, about 5 minutes.
- 2
Gently stir 1 tablespoon of poultry seasoning and the apple into the stuffing, and let the stuffing cool.
- 3
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and set a rack in a roasting pan.
- 4
Carefully remove the turkey breast skin in one piece without tearing and set it aside.
- 5
Bone the turkey breast (see notes), keeping the meat in one piece but removing the strip of cartilage and gristle between the two breast halves if needed.
- 6
Pull the two tenderloin sections outward from the main breast, keeping them attached, to form a roughly square piece of meat, and season the inside with salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of poultry seasoning.
- 7
Spread the stuffing mixture evenly over the inside of the breast, then roll the stuffed breast tightly into a compact log.
- 8
Lay the reserved skin flat and place the stuffed roll in the center. Pull and roll the skin over the stuffed meat, tie the roll securely with cooking twine, and set it seam side down on the roasting rack.
- 9
Roast the stuffed breast in the preheated oven until the skin is golden, the meat is no longer pink, and the temperature at the thickest part reaches 170 degrees F (75 degrees C), 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
- 10
Let the roast rest under a loose tent of aluminum foil for at least 10 minutes, then remove the twine for slicing.

How easyChef Pro scores recipes and products
easyChef Pro analyzes up to 41 nutrients using data sourced from USDA and other verified food databases. Its scoring method uses the nutrients relevant to nutrition quality, calorie density, processing level, and your selected health goal. Recipes and food products get a health score from 0 to 100, calculated using consistent rules instead of being estimated by AI. The same nutrition data, serving size and health goal will produce the same result.
The calculation evaluates nutrients, calorie density, processing level, and how well the food supports your selected health goal. Protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals and other beneficial nutrients can strengthen the score. High amounts of sodium, saturated fat, added sugar and other nutrients may lower it.
Your health goal also matters. easyChef Pro evaluates recipes and products across six health areas and adjusts their importance for your selected goal. This means the same food may be a better fit for one health goal than another.
For recipes, changing an ingredient, quantity or serving size changes the nutrition and may change the score. Remix the recipe in easyChef Pro to calculate fresh nutrition and scores for the version you actually make. Product scores are based on the nutrition and serving information associated with that specific product.
