Crispy Air-Fried Crab Cakes
Crispy Air-Fried Crab Cakes feature sweet, tender lump crab bound with buttery saltine crumbs and lifted by Dijon, Worcestershire, and a touch of Old Bay. The exterior turns golden and crisp in the air fryer while the inside stays moist and delicate, perfect with a squeeze of lemon. Serve these as a party appetizer or a light dinner with a simple salad.

- 1
Gather all the ingredients.
- 2
In a large bowl, mix the beaten egg, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, seafood seasoning, and hot pepper sauce. Stir in the green onion and set aside.
- 3
Put the crabmeat in a medium bowl and break it up with a fork. Add the milk, salt, and black pepper; toss to coat. Add the saltine crackers and baking powder; toss gently to combine. Add this to the egg mixture, stirring gently and taking care not to break the crab lumps.
- 4
Scoop the crab with a 1/3-cup measure and shape into 8 patties. Place the patties on a plate, cover, and refrigerate until firm, 1 to 8 hours.
- 5
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- 6
Spray the crab cakes on both sides with cooking spray and place them in the air fryer basket.
- 7
Cook in the preheated air fryer for 5 minutes. Gently turn the crab cakes over and continue cooking until crispy brown, about 5 minutes more.
