Crispy Chicken Rangoon Bites are filled with a creamy blend of tangy cream cheese and tender chicken, lightly seasoned with hints of garlic, onion, and a touch of soy and Worcestershire for depth. Fried until golden, they’re crunchy on the outside with a rich, savory center. Perfect as a party appetizer or a fun weeknight snack to share.

Crispy Chicken Rangoon Bites
  1. 1

Heat oil in a deep fryer or a deep, large saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

  2. 2

Stir cream cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, salt, and pepper together in a bowl. Add the chicken and stir until fully incorporated.

  3. 3

Separate the wonton wrappers and place them on a work surface.

  4. 4

Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese filling onto the center of each wrapper.

  5. 5

Working one at a time, use your finger or a pastry brush to lightly moisten the edges of the wrapper with water.

  6. 6

Fold one corner of the wrapper over the filling to the opposite corner to form a triangle, then press the edges together to seal.

  7. 7

Cook the wontons in batches in the hot oil until lightly browned, 2 to 4 minutes.

  8. 8

Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
