Gather all your ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 pan with butter, then line it with parchment paper.

In a bowl, combine the rolled oats, puffed brown rice cereal, almonds, coconut, cocoa powder, salt, and cayenne pepper.

In a small saucepan, combine the maple syrup, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and water; bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Stir, then boil the mixture for 1 minute.
