Citrus-Soy Marinated Grilled Chicken Thighs
  1. 1

    Assemble all the ingredients.

  2. 2

Rinse the chicken thighs and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them in a 1-gallon zip-top freezer bag.

  3. 3

Combine the soy sauce, orange juice, olive oil, ketchup, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, and pepper in a large bowl, stirring until the marinade is evenly mixed.

  4. 4

Pour the marinade over the chicken thighs in the freezer bag. Press out extra air, seal the bag, and refrigerate to marinate for at least 1 hour and up to 24 hours.

  5. 5

Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate. Remove the chicken thighs from the marinade, shaking off the excess, and discard any remaining marinade.

  6. 6

Grill the chicken in a single layer on the preheated grill until the centers are no longer pink, 5 to 7 minutes per side; an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of the chicken thighs should register at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
