Roasted Pork Bánh Mì (Vietnamese Sandwich)
  1. 1

Assemble all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

  2. 2

Toss the radish and carrot with the seasoned rice vinegar in a bowl until evenly coated. Let stand until the vegetables are slightly limp, 15 to 20 minutes. Drain and set aside or refrigerate.

  3. 3

Stir together the mayonnaise, hoisin sauce, and sriracha in a small bowl. Split the French roll just enough to open it like a book. Pull out some bread from the top half to better fit the filling if desired. Generously spread the mayonnaise mixture on the inside surfaces of the roll.

  4. 4

Set the roll, cut-side up, on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven until warmed and crisp with lightly browned edges, about 7 minutes.

  5. 5

Fill the warm roll with the sliced pork, pâté, pickled radish and carrot, cucumber, jalapeño, and cilantro leaves. Cut in half to serve.
