Steak-Sauce Bacon Cheese Burgers
Steak-Sauce Bacon Cheese Burgers stack juicy beef with crisp bacon, melty Cheddar, and a touch of green onion for a rich, beef-forward bite. The tangy steak sauce ties everything together, adding brightness to the smoky, salty layers. Perfect for a casual weeknight dinner or a game-day grill session.

- 1
Place the bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-low heat, turning now and then, until evenly browned, about 5 minutes. Drain the bacon bits on paper towels.
- 2
Preheat an outdoor grill to medium heat, 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) to 325 degrees F (165 degrees Fahrenheit). Lightly oil the grate.
- 3
Divide the ground beef into 1/4-pound portions. In a bowl, combine the bacon and green onions, then press the mixture onto both sides of the ground beef, working it in until evenly distributed. Shape the mixture into patties. Mix the garlic salt and ground black pepper in a bowl and rub it on both sides of the patties. Press a small indentation in the center of each patty.
- 4
Place the burgers on the preheated grill and pour 1/2 tablespoon of steak sauce into each indentation. Grill the burgers for 5 minutes. Flip and add 1/2 tablespoon of steak sauce to the center of each burger. Top each with a slice of Cheddar cheese and grill until the cheese is melted and the burger reaches the desired doneness, about 4 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
- 5
Meanwhile, start toasting the hamburger buns on the grill rack.
- 6
Remove the burgers and buns from the grill once the cheese has melted. Assemble the burgers.
