    Bring the water and rice to a boil in a saucepan.

    Lower the heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed, 20 to 25 minutes.

    Take the pan off the heat and let it cool for about 10 minutes.

    Toss the rice with the vinegar.

    Set 1 sheet of nori on a rolling mat, spread 1/4 of the rice over it, and press the rice to the edges.

    Arrange 1/4 of the salmon, 1/4 of the cream cheese, and 1/4 of the scallions down the center.

    Roll up carefully and wrap the roll in plastic wrap.

    Repeat with the remaining nori, rice, salmon, cream cheese, and scallions.

    Refrigerate until chilled, at least 1 hour.

    Take the sushi rolls out of the refrigerator, remove the plastic wrap, and slice each roll into 6 pieces.
