    Grease three 8-inch round cake pans; set aside.

    Add 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons warm water, butter, eggs, lemon extract, bread flour, sugar, and yeast to a bread machine in the order listed, or follow the manufacturer’s recommended order if different. Run the Dough cycle. Remove the dough from the machine when the cycle finishes.

    Divide the dough into 3 equal pieces; roll each into a ball and place each one into a prepared cake pan. Cover the dough balls; let them rise at room temperature for 1 hour.

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
