    Fill a large pot with water and add the whole chicken. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat. Simmer until tender, about 1 to 2 hours.

    Remove the chicken from the broth and set it aside to cool. Reserve the broth. When cool enough to handle, remove the meat from the bones and cut it into bite-size pieces. Discard the skin and bones.

    In a medium bowl, stir together the flour and salt. Crack one egg into the flour and stir with a fork until stiff. Continue adding eggs one at a time until all are incorporated. The dough should be very stiff.

    Bring the broth to a boil. Add the bouillon cubes and stir until they have dissolved.

    Using a fork and knife, lift dough onto the fork. Hold it over the boiling broth and cut off small pieces into the broth until all the dough is used. Stir, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
