- 1
Preheat the oven to 385 degrees F (196 degrees C).
- 2
Remove the core from the cabbage, then make six 2-inch cuts downward from the core about 1/4 of the way. Coat the cabbage with oil.
- 3
Season the cabbage with 1 teaspoon each of garlic powder, smoked paprika, paprika, Cajun seasoning, Old Bay, and chicken bouillon. Squeeze 1/2 lemon over the cabbage and rub the spices in until fully coated.
- 4
Place 3 tablespoons of butter in the center of the cabbage and wrap it tightly with two sheets of foil. Set it on a baking sheet.
- 5
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
- 6
Meanwhile, melt the remaining butter and whisk in the remaining 1 teaspoon each of garlic powder, smoked paprika, paprika, Cajun seasoning, Old Bay, and the lemon juice. Set aside.
- 7
After 1 hour, take the cabbage out of the oven and spoon 1 to 2 tablespoons of the butter mixture over it. Re-wrap the cabbage in the same foil.
- 8
Bake for 1 more hour. Remove from the oven and let the cabbage cool for 5 to 10 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper; serve with the remaining butter mixture for dipping if desired.

How easyChef Pro Scores This Recipe
easyChef Pro gives every recipe a health score from 0 to 100, built from more than 30 nutritional parameters including nutrient density, energy density and glycemic impact. It calculates rather than estimates, so the same recipe returns the same score every time.
The number is traceable. You can see exactly which nutrient moved it, so a dish scoring 78 might show fiber pushing it up while sodium pulls it down, alongside the NOVA processing level of each ingredient.
Your health goal changes the calculation itself, not just a filter. easyChef Pro applies clinically derived weighting across six health dimensions, which is why the same dish can score well for one goal and poorly for another.
Swap an ingredient or change the serving size and that math changes with it. Scoring your own version is the only way to see what your kitchen actually produces.
