Spiced Sweet Potato Wedges

Spiced Sweet Potato Wedges bake up with crisp, bronzed edges and a tender, fluffy center. Smoky paprika, chili, and cumin create warm heat balanced by a hint of garlic and onion, making them a standout side for weeknight dinners or casual gatherings. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or alongside grilled mains for a satisfying contrast in texture and flavor.

Spiced Sweet Potato Wedges
  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 2

Combine chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, cornstarch, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.

  3. 3

Slice potatoes in half lengthwise, then cut each half into 3 wedges. Put them in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil; toss to coat. Add the spice mixture and mix with a rubber spatula or your hands until the potatoes are fully coated. Move them to the prepared baking sheet.

  4. 4

Bake in the preheated oven until the thickest parts of the potato wedges are easily pierced with a fork, about 25 minutes.
