  1. 1

Break up the ground beef and pork sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat, cooking and stirring until browned; drain and set aside.

  2. 2

Lightly coat a large pot with cooking spray, then add the green, red and yellow bell peppers, and the onion; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until tender.

  3. 3

Add the beef and sausage to the peppers.

  4. 4

Puree the stewed tomatoes in a blender or food processor, then stir them into the pot with the chili seasoning.

  5. 5

Stir in the pinto beans and bring to a simmer.

  6. 6

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.

  7. 7

Add the angel hair pasta and cook until tender, 2 to 3 minutes; drain.

  8. 8

To serve the chili, layer the items on your plate in this order: start with pasta, then crushed saltine crackers, then shredded cheese, and finally chili; mix it all together and enjoy.

  9. 9

Be careful with portions, or you may end up with a serving too large to finish.
