Crockpot Chicken Carnitas

    Dissolve the chicken bouillon in boiling water.

    Heat the oil in a saute pan over medium heat.

    Add the onion; cook and stir until translucent and browned, about 5 minutes.

    Add the jalapenos and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

    Add the green chiles; cook for 3 minutes more.

    Combine the salt, cilantro, Mexican seasoning, cumin, basil, oregano, garlic powder, seasoning blend, chile powder, paprika, mustard powder, and black pepper in a bowl.

    Trim the chicken as needed and coat all sides with the seasoning blend.

    Place the onion mixture in a slow cooker.

    Add the chicken broth, the juice and zest from the limes and orange, and the garlic cloves.
