Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Put the potatoes in a large pot with just enough water to cover, bring to a boil, then simmer until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain and mash, seasoning with milk, butter, salt, or however you prefer to make them.

Pour the baked beans into the bottom of a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Slice the corned beef and lay it in an even layer over the beans. Add a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce. Spread the mashed potatoes on top.

Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. The mashed potatoes should begin to crisp but not brown yet. Sprinkle the cheese on top and return to the oven. Bake for another 20 minutes, or until the cheese is browned.
