Mahi Mahi Burgers

Juicy mahi mahi fillets rubbed with Cajun spice hit the grill for a smoky, peppery bite, then get tucked into toasted whole-wheat buns with a tangy chipotle-adobo mayo. Crisp romaine and ripe tomato add cool crunch and freshness. Mahi Mahi Burgers make a bright, flavorful meal perfect for a quick lunch or casual weeknight dinner.

Mahi Mahi Burgers
  1. 1

Preheat an outdoor grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grate.

  2. 2

Season the mahi mahi fillets with lemon juice, olive oil, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

  3. 3

Grill on the preheated grill until the fish is white and flaky, about 4 minutes per side; an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should register at least 137 degrees F (58 degrees C).

  4. 4

Meanwhile, split and toast the hamburger buns. Mix the mayonnaise with the adobo sauce in a small bowl and spread it on the toasted buns.

  5. 5

Set the mahi mahi fillets on the buns and garnish with tomatoes and lettuce leaves.
