Seven Layer Sliders
Seven Layer Sliders stack juicy taco-seasoned beef with melted Monterey Jack, grilled pico de gallo, guacamole, and a tangy sour cream sauce on toasted Hawaiian rolls. Each bite balances smoky char, fresh tomato-lime brightness, and a touch of heat from jalapeños. Perfect for game day or casual parties where bold, layered flavors shine.

- 3
Remove the tomatoes and jalapeno and set them aside to cool.
- 4
Flip the onion slice and cook for 1 more minute.
- 5
Remove the onion from the heat to cool slightly.
- 6
Finely chop the tomatoes and onion.

If desired, remove the seeds from the jalapeno and finely chop it.
- 8
Add the chopped vegetables to a bowl and stir in the cilantro, lime juice, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and garlic powder.
- 9
Set the grilled pico de gallo aside. Reduce the grill heat to medium-high.
- 10
Combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, and 1 tablespoon taco seasoning in a small bowl; mix well and set aside.
- 11
Combine the ground beef and the remaining taco seasoning in a bowl and mix well.
- 12
Form the mixture into 2 rectangular patties.
- 13
Slice the whole loaf of rolls in half and place each cut side down on the lightly oiled grill grate.

Toast on the hot grill for 1 minute.
- 15
Remove from the heat and set on a cutting board.
- 16
Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for 4 minutes.

Top each patty with cheese and cook until the cheese melts, 30 seconds more.
- 20
Remove from the heat and place the patties on the bottom half of the toasted buns.
- 21
Top the cheese with guacamole, grilled pico de gallo, lettuce, and sliced jalapenoes.
- 22
Spread your desired amount of sour cream sauce on the cut side of the bun tops and reserve any remaining sauce to serve on the side.
- 23
Invert the sauced bun tops onto the sliders.
- 24
Cut into 12 sliders.
- 25
Slice the remaining jalapeno thinly.
- 26
