Roasted Black Pepper Tofu with Broccoli (Sheet Pan)
  1. 1

Cut the tofu into thirds lengthwise to create 3 even slabs. Stack the slabs, slice lengthwise into 3 even columns, then slice across to form 5 even rows.

  2. 2

Arrange the tofu evenly on a plate lined with a couple of layers of paper towels. Place more paper towels on top and set another plate over them. Press out as much water as possible and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  4. 4

Move the pressed tofu and broccoli to a mixing bowl. Drizzle with sesame oil and soy sauce; toss gently to combine. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch, garlic powder, ground ginger, and black pepper; sprinkle over the tofu and broccoli. Toss until evenly coated, then spread in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

  5. 5

Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Flip and continue baking until crispy, about 10 minutes more. Serve warm.
