Slow Cooker Honey Mustard Pulled Pork

Slow Cooker Honey Mustard Pulled Pork balances sweet honey with sharp Dijon and whole-grain mustard for tender, pull-apart meat bathed in a glossy, tangy sauce. It’s rich yet bright, perfect piled onto toasted slider buns and topped with pickled red onions for a pop of acidity. Serve for casual dinners, game days, or weekend gatherings.

Slow Cooker Honey Mustard Pulled Pork
  1. 1

    Gather all the ingredients.

  2. 2

In a small bowl, mix together the salt, granulated garlic, onion powder, dry mustard, and black pepper. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the pork.

  3. 3

Place the pork in an 8-quart slow cooker. In a bowl, stir together the honey, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, Worcestershire, and apple cider vinegar. Pour 1 cup of the Dijon mixture over the pork; cover and refrigerate the remaining 1/2 cup. Cover the slow cooker and cook until the pork is fork-tender, flipping it halfway through, 5 to 6 hours on High or 8 to 10 hours on Low.

  4. 4

Transfer the pork to a cutting board, reserving 1/4 cup of the cooking liquid in the slow cooker; discard the rest. Whisk the reserved Dijon mixture into the reserved cooking liquid. Shred the pork with 2 forks and stir it into the sauce.

Serve on slider buns with pickled red onion. Recipe developed by Craig Ruff.
