Pan-Baked Pizza with Vodka Sauce

Pan-Baked Pizza with Vodka Sauce marries a crisp, golden crust with a creamy, tomato-forward vodka sauce that’s smooth and lightly tangy. Fresh mozzarella melts into luscious pools, Parmesan adds a salty finish, and bursts of grape tomato and basil keep each bite bright. Perfect for a cozy weeknight dinner or a casual weekend gathering.

Pan-Baked Pizza with Vodka Sauce
  1. 1

Assemble all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Lightly grease a 12-inch cake pan.

  2. 2

Stretch and roll out the pizza dough and set it in the prepared pan. Prick the dough with a fork.

  3. 3

Bake the pizza dough in the preheated oven for 5 minutes. Take the pizza out of the oven; spread vodka sauce over the pizza, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edge.

  4. 4

Arrange the mozzarella slices on the pizza. Sprinkle the Parmesan on top.

  5. 5

Bake for 15 minutes more. Remove the pizza and add the tomato halves. Bake until the crust is golden, about 5 more minutes.

  6. 6

Take the pizza out of the oven; garnish with basil. If desired, mix garlic granules into olive oil; brush it along the exposed crust. Cut into 8 to 10 slices; serve right away.
