Butter-Crust Bread Pizza Bites

Butter-Crust Bread Pizza Bites turn thick slices of bread into mini pies with a crisp, cheesy edge and gooey center. Rich butter and Parmigiano-Reggiano create a savory crust that holds tangy sauce, melty mozzarella, and pepperoni. Perfect for casual dinners, game day snacks, or when you want pizza flavor without making dough.

Butter-Crust Bread Pizza Bites
  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 2

Generously butter both sides of the bread slices and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet. Finely grate Parmigiano-Reggiano over each slice, pressing the cheese lightly into the butter to help it adhere. Flip the slices so the cheese side is facing down. Spoon pizza sauce on top and spread it evenly over the slices.

  3. 3

Bake in the preheated oven until the bottoms begin to turn golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes.

  4. 4

Top each slice with mozzarella and 3 pepperoni slices (or your preferred toppings). Bake until the mozzarella is melted and the bottom crust is crisp and well browned, 10 to 12 minutes more.
