Grilled Rosemary Chicken Breasts

Grilled Rosemary Chicken Breasts feature tender, juicy meat infused with garlic, Dijon, fresh rosemary, and a lift of lemon. The savory-herb marinade adds depth while the grill delivers a lightly charred finish. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or casual cookout, it pairs well with crisp salads, roasted vegetables, or grilled potatoes.

Grilled Rosemary Chicken Breasts
  1. 1

    Gather the ingredients.

  2. 2

Whisk the garlic, oil, rosemary, mustard, lemon juice, pepper, and salt in a bowl. Set aside 2 tablespoons for basting.

  3. 3

Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag. Pour the remaining garlic mixture over the top; seal the bag and massage the marinade into the chicken. Let stand for 30 minutes at room temperature.

  4. 4

Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate. Remove the chicken from the marinade and shake off the excess. Discard the remaining marinade.

  5. 5

Cook the chicken on the preheated grill for 4 minutes.

  6. 6

Turn, baste with the reserved marinade, and continue grilling until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 5 minutes.

  7. 7

Check with an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center; it should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). Transfer the chicken to a plate and cover with foil.

  8. 8

Let rest for at least 2 minutes before serving.
