    Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook the elbow macaroni in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until cooked through but still slightly firm, 8 minutes. Drain.

    Cook and stir the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until the meat is browned and crumbly, about 10 minutes; drain the excess grease.

    Combine the cooked ground beef, macaroni, pizza sauce, tomato sauce, and mushrooms in a bowl. Spread half of the macaroni mixture in a 9x12-inch baking dish; top with 1/2 the mozzarella cheese. Add the remaining macaroni mixture over the top; sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the macaroni mixture. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
