Broiled Halibut with Miso Glaze

    Position an oven rack about 4 inches below the heat source and preheat the broiler. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly coat it with cooking spray.

    In a small bowl, whisk the miso, rice wine, and mirin together until smooth.

    Set the halibut on the prepared baking sheet and spread 1/2 of the miso mixture over it.

    Broil in the preheated oven until golden, 4 to 5 minutes. Turn the halibut and brush with the remaining miso mixture. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Continue broiling until the second side is golden, 3 to 4 minutes more.
