    Put the ingredients into the bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Choose the Dough or White Bread setting, then press Start.

    If the dough does not gather into a ball on the paddle, add 1 tablespoon of flour at a time until a ball forms. Let the machine finish the selected cycle.

    For conventional baking, grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. After the Dough cycle is complete, remove the dough from the bread machine pan. Shape it into a loaf and set it in the prepared pan. Let it rise until doubled.

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

    Bake in the preheated oven until the top is golden brown, about 40 minutes. Carefully tip the loaf out of the pan onto a work surface and gently tap the bottom of the loaf. If it sounds hollow, the bread is done.
