Assemble all the ingredients.

Combine salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, marjoram, and basil in a small bowl.

Put the steak in a large bowl; sprinkle the seasoning mixture over it and stir to coat.

Heat 1/2 of the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak; cook and stir to your desired doneness. Move the cooked steak to a plate.
