    Using a knife or grater, sharpen the thick ends of the rosemary sprigs. Soak the sprigs in water for at least 10 minutes.

    Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

    Place 1 slice fontina and 1 slice prosciutto on each chicken breast. Roll tightly, and secure each with a rosemary sprig as a skewer.

    In a bowl, whisk the wine, broth, oil, and pepper. Pour into a medium baking dish. Set the rolled chicken breasts in the dish. Tuck 2 garlic halves under each breast.
