Cheeseburger Wontons
  1. 1

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook, stirring, until browned and crumbly. Drain and discard the grease.

  2. 2

Place about 1/2 teaspoon ground beef and 1/2 teaspoon cheese in the center of each wonton wrapper. Fold each wrapper into a triangle and seal the edges with water.

  3. 3

Heat oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). The vegetable oil is ready when bubbles form around the end of a wooden spoon inserted into the oil.

  4. 4

Fry the wontons in the hot oil until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Lift them out with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate.
