Char-Grilled Pork Tenderloin with Skillet-Fried Apples
  1. 1

Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high and lightly oil the grate.

  2. 2

Season the pork tenderloin generously with garlic salt and pepper.

  3. 3

Grill the pork on the preheated grill, turning it twice on each side, until the center is no longer pink, 6 to 7 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted in the center should register at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). Remove the pork from the grill, cover with aluminum foil, and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice the pork and arrange it on a serving platter.

  4. 4

Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat; add the apples. Cover the skillet and cook for 5 minutes. Stir the apples and sprinkle with sugar; reduce the heat to low. Cover again and cook the apples for 5 more minutes. Uncover; cook and stir until the apples are lightly browned, 2 to 3 more minutes. Spoon the apples over the sliced pork.
