Marsala Pork Chops with Mushrooms

    Combine flour, garlic powder, oregano, garlic salt, and salt in a medium bowl. Add the pork chops and toss until evenly coated.

    Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the pork chops in the hot oil-butter mixture, turning occasionally, until browned on both sides. Add the mushrooms and garlic; cook and stir until the mushrooms start to soften and the garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute.

    Pour in the wine, scraping the skillet to release any browned bits from the bottom. Cover and simmer over medium heat until the pork is tender and the sauce has thickened, about 15 minutes.

    Check that an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of the pork reads at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). If the sauce is too thick, adjust by stirring in more wine a little at a time.
