Tuna Melt Sliders
Tuna Melt Sliders deliver gooey Cheddar layered with tangy tuna salad on soft, slightly sweet Hawaiian rolls. A Dijon-garlic butter brush bakes into the tops, adding a toasty, aromatic crunch that contrasts the melty center. - 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Lightly coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Arrange the bottom halves of the rolls in the prepared dish, cut side up.
- 2
In a bowl, stir together the tuna, celery, mayonnaise, relish, salt, and pepper until evenly mixed.
- 3
Place 6 slices of Cheddar cheese on the rolls, spread the tuna mixture over the Cheddar, and top with the remaining 6 slices of Cheddar.
- 4
Set the top halves of the rolls in place, cut side down. Stir together the butter, Dijon, dill, and garlic until combined. Brush all but 1 1/2 tablespoons of the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls. Loosely cover the rolls with aluminum foil.
- 5
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- 6
Remove and discard the foil. Continue baking at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) until the cheese is completely melted, about 5 minutes more.
- 7
Brush the remaining butter mixture evenly over the rolls. Serve immediately. Recipe developed by Amanda Holstein.
