BBQ Country-Style Pork Ribs - Sous Vide
BBQ Country-Style Pork Ribs - Sous Vide delivers melt-in-your-mouth pork with deep smoky notes, gentle heat from red pepper flakes, and a glossy, caramelized barbecue finish. A long sous vide bath keeps the meat succulent, while a quick broil adds sticky, charred edges. Ideal for weekend dinners or casual gatherings where tender ribs are the star.

Combine the salt and sugar in a small bowl. Sprinkle evenly over the ribs. Coat the ribs with red pepper flakes, five-spice powder, and black pepper. Place the ribs into a large vacuum-seal bag; add the liquid smoke. Seal the bag.
- 2
Submerge the sealed bag in a heat-safe container of water fitted with a sous vide cooker. Set the temperature to 140 degrees F (60 degrees C) and cook for 8 hours.
- 3
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Position the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and turn on the broiler. Set a wire rack on a baking sheet.
- 4
Remove the ribs from the bag; arrange them on the prepared baking sheet and brush with barbeque sauce.
- 5
Bake in the preheated oven until bubbly, 4 to 5 minutes. Flip the ribs and continue baking until the other side bubbles, 2 to 3 minutes more.
