Low-Carb Air-Fried Salmon Patties with Sriracha Mayo

Low-Carb Air-Fried Salmon Patties with Sriracha Mayo are crisp at the edges with a moist, flaky center, letting the rich salmon shine against a creamy, spicy sauce. Almond flour and Old Bay add nutty warmth and classic seafood seasoning without the carbs. Serve these for a quick weeknight dinner or a protein-packed lunch with a crunchy salad or steamed veggies.

Low-Carb Air-Fried Salmon Patties with Sriracha Mayo
  1. 1

Make the Sriracha mayo: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and Sriracha. Spoon 1 tablespoon of the Sriracha mayo into the bowl of a food processor and refrigerate the remainder until needed.

  2. 2

Prepare the salmon cakes: Add salmon, almond flour, egg, green onion, and 1 1/2 teaspoons seafood seasoning to the Sriracha mayo in the food processor bowl; pulse briefly for 4 to 5 seconds until just combined, leaving small pieces of salmon. (Do not overprocess or the mixture will turn mushy.)

  3. 3

Line a plate with waxed paper and coat your hands with cooking spray. Shape the salmon mixture into 8 small patties; set them on the plate. Refrigerate until chilled and firm, about 15 minutes.

  4. 4

Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.

  5. 5

Take the salmon cakes out of the refrigerator. Mist both sides with cooking spray and carefully place them in the air fryer basket, working in batches if needed to prevent overcrowding.

  6. 6

Air-fry in the preheated air fryer for 6 to 8 minutes. Transfer to a serving platter and serve with the remaining Sriracha mayo and a light sprinkle of Old Bay seasoning.
